Rose Brook Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Silver Creek, New York.
Rose Brook Golf Course first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by George Mumm. Built by one man with a dream to own a golf course. He was a retired iron worker and part time inventor. The back nine opened in 1997.
Rose Brook Golf Course is located in Northern Chautauqua County of Western NY State on the shores of Lake Erie at the heart of Wine Making Country. Surrounded by scenic hills and Chautauqua County's beautiful grape vineyards. The beautiful surroundings provide an outstanding setting for the areas most affordable golfing experience.
Rose Brook features many challenging hole and picturesque scenery that is highlighted by the Rose Brook Creek Gorge running through and coming into play on many holes. It also features 12 ponds with a few traps scattered throughout. The length is not daunting. But, with 5 par 5's 9 par 4's and 4 par 3' including one over the 100' deep gorge and one over a huge pond, from a picturesque elevated tee, Rose Brook is just challenging enough for the seasoned golfer, but not too severe to ruin a good vacation round of golf. If you're an experienced golfer or just a beginner, the Rose Brook Golf Course will not disappoint you. This will be both a relaxing, but challenging experience.

Tuesdays offer 2 for 1 Golf and $5.00 Fridays! Golf is only $5.00 with cart rental! Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere makes golfing at Rose Brook fun. Rose Brook Golf Course likes to refer to themselves as the "Working man's Country Club!"

I will definitely recommend this course to anyone. It is a great place for a beginner and the experienced golfer. The area has a lot to offer for the vacationer.

Fast greens for a public course. In these times of economic distress this is the best value in western ny. Also with the beach resort area very close by it makes it a nice day trip or overnight!

easily the most friendliest atmosphere on a golf course i have ever played. conditions were excellent. price was more than fair and it was near the local baech resorts for after golf partying. what more could they offer!

I found this course just off the NY State Thruway while getting gas, few cars in the parking lot so decided to give this little "Home Grown" course a little action. They gave me the Fall special of $10 "All You Can Play."
So off I went on this 6,035yd / 70.4 / 113 Par 73 (37/36) Link's type layout. Very open layout with many 275yd - 335yd Par 4's that gave you that feel good 2nd shot with 9I - Wedge to a average, small, flat holding green. Conditions weren't too bad considering the tight budget they must operate on as everything was green and mowed to correct lengths. All holes are straightforward from the tee box and no hidden problems but a few well-placed trees in the landing area rough.
I enjoyed the relaxed pace of 2.5 hrs in shooting 38/34 w/31 putts and having three (3) Birdies on the Back 9 was a good way to leave the course. I feel that if they changed two (2) Par 5's to Par 4's it would be more accurate to the Par/yardage that it should be. Very enjoyable layout for Beginners, Youth's and Senior's that want to post a good low score.
